PKU "morning out"

French Park - May 15, 2010

The next informal Parents Morning Out will be for parents and children. Hopefully this spring May day will provide for a great time for parents to chat while little ones play. We will meet at 10:00 at the playground at French Park in Plymouth, Minnesota. Topics proposed for discussion are summer foods and summer vacations with a PKU diet (camping, cabins, etc.).

I anticipate the informal event lasting until 12:00. If weather is bad we will relocate the event to the Maple Grove Community Center's Maple Maze.

About Mornings Out

Occasionally a group of parents meets to discuss low protein foods, recipes, and tips. Recent meetings have been held at the Borders in Maple Grove, MN. If you would like to be part of upcoming events e-mail Tanya or events@mnpku.org.

If you have a suggestion for a location for a future gather, let us know as well. It is anticipated that the next scheduled event will be in May 2010. Be sure to join us for the Winter Pool Party in the meantime.
